The Bachelor episode 4

In general 
The girls who do not go on dates are represented as conniving

• Bitchy
• jealous
• Curious (They often spy on the couple having a date)
• Nasty
• Catty
• Desperate
• You kind of feel sorry for the girls but then again they signed up for the show
• She show is set up to show the bitchy moments 
• The girls are manipulated to have a fight or to lose their cool for television
• The audience might be hypocritical and judgey the judgey audience is predominately female. 
• This show is mostly aimed at girls who judge one another
• Sam is like the prize and all the girls are competing with each other to get the prize.
• The girls are all beautiful 
• conniving
• Manipulative
• Bimbo's (One of them is a vet and every time she talks to Sam she talks about immature things)
• Back stabbing gossip
• The girls are playing detectives spying on each other going to tell everyone else
• Only interesting comments, rude selfish or negative accusations are shown. 
• All Girls came in at the same time to create  blow up
• The show shows all the bad things that happen and singles date are all the same.
• Only one girl will get sam

Anyone who could possibly be saying something nice about the girl who is getting the attention is not shown on the show. 

The girls as a whole are represented as 

• Desperate as they are all fighting for Sam's attention
• emotional as they break down easily if something doesn’t go to plan.
• Female audience judging
• Becomes okay to compete for a guy
• Okay to take a guy away from another girl
• Saying this is what not to do
• Lets guys go around and take out heaps of girls
• Its always the woman fault
• You are positioned not to like anyone 

• Sam is the good guy
• If he was decent enough he would make all the girls suffer
• They have only shown us what the girls go through (all their drama) and it only shows Sam in his good moments. 
• Sam is portrayed as great as he is the prize
• Might have moments when he questions the show
• If the girls are angry about something they are not angry at him they are angry at the other girls. 

Heather: 

• Heather is deployed as confident and outspoken
• She is cheeky, often making funny remarks to sam (When he asks her to stay in the house and gives her the rose she says no as a joke.)
• She is shyly affectionate and doesn’t like to show her emotions too much.
• She feels a strong affection towards sam
• She is a little possessive of sam and doesn’t want the other girls getting in the way of her. 
• Heather is completely different with Sam than when she is with the girls 
• When she had the white rose she new she was in control of the situation 
• In her date planning we saw her fun side
• Heather is really secretive she didn't reveal too much on her date 

Enru

- She said that she thought Sam would only see Heather as a friend

- It kinda says that guys shouldn't like girls who are loud and fun and quick witted like Heather 

- She tries to be better than the others

- Heather is a threat to her
