Over view:

Mr Andrews told us today it would be best to just write out our main idea/ focus and everything we need to be focusing on as if this were an essay because it will allow our group to see this project clearly.

Our Focus/Argument: Facebook is dangerous to the Youth of today

Intro: Introduction to facebook, speaking about it's major appeal to the masses and the large number of people who actually use it.

Point 1: Many youth of Australia actually share their Facebook passwords with a friend as a kind of ultimate sign of trust. Unfortunately this is detrimental as the friends can often hack into each others Facebook accounts if the friendship breaks up and cause extreme stress and distress to one another. As well as this it is easy to hack a Facebook account without a password. Hannah Buckley, a girl who's Facebook was actually hacked, has hers story told. She was suicidal after the event. It is explained that hacking of something as personal yet public as a Facebook account can lead to extreme distress in the youth of today and even render them suicidal.

Point 2: Our second point is how easily it is to be scammed over Facebook. Abby interviews her mothers friend who was scammed over Facebook. This represents that if adults are falling for scams teens are double at risk as they are far more nieve about who they are dealing with and often have much more trust than adults do. This would impact them as they could lose money, buy things that never arrive etc... Which can lead to distress, stress, money problems, trust issues etc.

Point 3: Facebook is also full of online predators. Abby will explain certain statistics about online predators and the amount of teens getting sexually assaulted, raped and even murdered from someone they met online. The impact of this on youth is youth are generally more niece and trusting despite the fact they may not know who they are communicating with online. Doing this could lead to seriousl trauma or even a loss of life. Abby shares a story about a girl who was murdered by someone she met on Facebook and then we interview youth, adults and children on Facebook about whether they know all their friends on Facebook personally.

Outro: Sum up of our main points and a reinforcement that Facebook is dangerous.
