- When Nicole leaves I wanted to convey some more story telling without dialogue by using the Hitchcock technique of showing someone looking at something, showing what they are looking at and their reaction to it. For Libby when she see's the fan knocking on the door, she feels highly guilty that she isn't in Nicole's position as she knows that if she were famous she would treat her fans so much better than Libby treats her fans. She is also angry about having to listen to Nicole's problems when she knows if these aspects of Nicole's life than annoy her were in her life she would embrace them and love them. This is all shown through this Hitchcock method and without dialogue. I also used the same technique with minimal or no dialogue when Nicole is in her dressing room and thanks she sees a suspicious person walk past the room, see's that no one is there but presumes it is her PA. One of Hitchock's film aspects that he is most famous for is his suspense and showing the viewers information before the characters know. I created this in this particular scene by showing the shadowy figure on the edge of the door way as Nicole leaves the door and exits to the front of the stage. Nicole doesn't know it is there yet, no one does except the viewers. They know there is someone creepy backstage.  I also used this technique when Nicole see's a fan leave the log line waiting for her to sign things. She has a confused expression and although she isn't speaking about being confused or asking the fan where she is going it is told through the perspective shots and Nicole's facial expressions.

- In all three scenes, two things are happening at once, another technique of Hitchcock films. When Libby stands in the house feeling many emotions about the fan and the letter, Libby is contemplating all sorts of things but at the same time the fan is still banging on the door. It creates a humour, that fan  is absolutely die hard and most likely will not go away for a long time.

- When Nicole is doing her make up she is also looking around outside the door suspicious that someone is outside.

- When Nicole is addressing the large crowed of people, welcoming them to her signing, a fan is becoming transfixed with catching a rare Pokemon on Pokemon Go, and Nicole is staring at her in a very confused way as she leaves the theatre.

- I also wanted to pay a large homage to Hitchcock through the first death in the film. I used the technique of suspense again, the audience knows more than the characters. The audience already knows there is a creepy person backstage who most likely has terrible intentions. So I furthered this feeling. When Jenna's character goes backstage she is almost immediately pursued by the shadowy figure, she doesn't realise this. She walks into Nicole's dressing room and walks in front of a mirror trying to catch the rare Pokemon. The shadowy figure walks up behind her she only realises something is going to go terribly wrong when she see's it standing behind her and by then it is too late.

- After that I wanted to create a seventy seven stabbing deaths scene, like in Psycho, using montage editing to create a story (another Hitchcock technique) There is plenty of emphasis on hands, feet and facial expressions (also a Hitchcock montage technique) There will be no actual showing of the wound, it will only be implied through stabbing motions and blood on Jenna's characters hands, as well as blood on the knife.

- Libbys character is the one to discover the body, this make the audiences think she isn't the murderer so I can pull the rug out from underneath the viewers by the end of the film (a Hitchcock technique). In this scene I do not show Jenna's body as Hitchcock didn't really show gore, but let it up to the viewers imagination as sometimes imagination is much more scary than the real thing. Libby immediately goes and does something trivial upon discovering the body. (also implying the two things happening at once rule. {Libby is in crisis and discovering a body but also trying to find sharpie pens for Nicole}) (something that happens in a lot of Hitchcock films when characters find themselves in a time of crisis) She then screams for help.

- In The next scene Nicole and Libby are being interviewed about the event. I used the technique of action and reaction through facial expressions to convey the story line. The Interviewer conveys that people are suspicious of Nicole. In this scene two things are also happening at once. Libby notices the paper she tore out from Nicole notebook. There is all sorts of information that could be used to incriminate Nicole. I use the action and reaction technique to display Libby panicking about this prospect as she does not want Nicole to go to jail, despite her jealousy and crazy "Nicole" personality she loves her sister.
