Jinx is a highly determined 17 year old girl. She is motivated by the love she has for her friends and families and her worst fear is losing them. She doesn't like to be told ‘no’ or as she see’s it as a challenge to change those words to ‘yes’. If she cannot solve a problem, she will get extremely frustrated and embarrassed. She is fairly average height, with pale skin, grey eyes and brown hair. She is extroverted, outspoken, opinionated, determined and a friend to everyone, although some would consider her a little too opinionated, even rude. Jinx takes school seriously, and has been going to a private school her whole life. She wants to get at least an OP 5 and get into a good university, but lacks some direction, not knowing what she wants to do in life. She decides to see a psychic to get a reading, to see if she can gain some guidance from this experience. Although she doesn't really believe in supernatural abilities, but her best friend suggests that it would be a good idea for her. The psychic tells Jinx that she has a very special gift for resurrecting the dead. Jinx does not believe this, as she has little tolerance for the supernatural, and leaves the psychics room quickly. Soon after this reading Jinx is in a horrible car accident in which her best friend is killed. Jinx is heavily shaken by this and extremely upset by the fact that she cannot bring her back. But because of Jinx’s determined personality she doesn't except that her friend is dead and decides to return to the psychic, abandoning her prejudices against the supernatural, to seek advice. Jinx manages to master her power and bring her friend back to life. Jinx’s short term goals in,life include trying to forget the trauma of the incident and thing care of her friend while she recovers from the broken bones sustained in the accident. Her long term goals include trying to figure out a way she can use her power to change the world in a positive way.
Mist is a twenty year old psychic with a rare gift to send someone back in time in order to fix their mistakes. Misty grew up as an only child to her two parents in QLD and always knew from the time she was young that she could see into the future, as well as know about a person without actually knowing the person. She was a quiet girl at school and extremely introverted. She has few friends but was always kind and loving. She dropped out of school at 14 seeing it as useless, as she longed to pursue a career as a psychic. Her parents knowing her ability, fully supported her but wished she had finished her education. She is fairly tall, has tan skin, curly dark hair her most distinguishing feature, and often wears brightly coloured flowy robe like clothes. She spends most of her time at readings with people who need them, or visiting her few close friends who are also psychic. Mist is completely overruled by emotion and can often let her heart get in the way of her head. She sends people with very sad stories, or lives back in time to correct their errors, but fears that they will disrupt the course of nature. The course of nature has been disrupted before but she has fixed it by sending the person further back in time and forward again to repair his mistake. It is her greatest fear that something like that will happen again. Mist is completely determined to help Jinx save her friend and trains her to succeed in doing so. Mist is gentle, generous, kind, sensitive and mysterious and has no enemies. Everything she does is done with a calm demeanour and her hobbies include crystal gazing and mastering the art of tarot reading and palmistry. Her great ambition in life is to help as many people as she possibly can with her psychic abilities and her ability to turn back the clock, but her short term goal is to make sure Jinx brings her best friend back.
