Friday freak out
So today I found out I had uploaded my files to Final Cut Pro completely wrong! So what I did was create a new folder for the good and bad shots of each scene. That's not what you do, apparently it can corrupt your entire file or project your working on. So that's not good news basically. So this weekend I had to basically start over with sorting out the files. They were already sorted on my desktop into good and bad clips but I just needed to upload them again. I sorted out final cut and actually managed to get rid of all the folders I had created. We were worried that by doing that it would corrupt the final film but I knew it wouldn't as the whole film was already saved in iMovie and everyone has the shots on their laptops. I knew if something terrible happened we could just transfer the film from iMovie to Final Cut Pro and be alright. So I got rid of all the folders that were cluttering up the project and I made a new folder titles FTV and a new event titled film noir and under that event I uploaded each of the shots sorted into good and bad and labelled with the scene names. Finally I sorted out a disaster situation.
